The spacious Deluxe Twin Room was ideal for our family reunion, and we enjoyed the tranquility of the lovely garden despite a large party nearby.

This place has such charm! The room felt cozy, and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was top-notch with fresh ingredients, and they even offered to make eggs any way you like! Only thing was the early closing bar at 8:30 pm—wish they stayed open longer.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a cozy bar lounge, and excellent room amenities. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped me find my way. I’ll definitely return for my next visit.

i had a fantastic stay at the crown! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when I faced challenges with my luggage and rental. the breakfast was delicious and served by cheerful staff. the huge parking lot made it easy to explore nearby saffron walden and the imperial war museum at duxford was just a five-minute drive away.

I had a fantastic stay with incredibly helpful staff who went above and beyond when I faced challenges with my luggage. The breakfast was delicious, featuring locally sourced ingredients and generous portions. the beautiful surroundings made for a peaceful retreat, especially the lovely gardens for an afternoon stroll. One downside was that the hotel does not serve dinner, although there are excellent local pubs nearby.

We felt right at home with the cozy Deluxe Twin Room and the amazing breakfast that kicked off our busy days. The garden area was perfect for unwinding, and we loved the leisure TV room for evening relaxation. Just a heads up, the view from our window wasn’t as exciting as we'd hoped, but it didn’t put a damper on our stay! 🌟

The only downside was the noise late at night from some guests, which affected our sleep a bit. It would have been nice if the room assignments considered the need for quieter accommodations.

Ideal for a quiet getaway

I stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the owner who helped us plan our outing. The shower was fantastic, and the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby every night.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but definitely worth it.
